The aerial performers in Tangle Movements Arts are moving in many different ways to push the envelope. The mats lay out beneath the silk cloth and rings suspended remind you that these are talented artists that have a prime ability to elevate a story to a new level.
The story of a broken relationship provides the defining moment.
The backdrop for this performance is to rise up, and defy loss. Meredith Rosenthal showed an anger or rage, and the other aerial artists watched from below and looked deep in thought.
The play between acrobats and a real struggle show clever ways true obstacles in life can be worked out.
Deena Weisberg was very seductive. The beauty of Life Lines is the artistic expression of femininity. These are models of important women in the world defining what it means to be a woman.
Opening up with music and the ending scene reemerge from the past like a daydream. Meditating on what we witnessed up above and the emotion of the fantasy opens your mind. It is like sitting in on an epic music video before all the editing and special effects.
