muraLAB presents: Jenny Odell: Looking at Cities • Moore College of Art and Design
The Mural Arts Program and muraLAB present the latest installation of their exploration into the relationships between digital art, public art, and muralism with Jenny Odell: Looking at Cities. Odell is a San Francisco based digital artists who uses satellite imagery and mapping programs to study and diagram infrastructural systems of cities, using collage to reveal the landscape from a new perspective.
Philadelphia Mural Arts @30 • The Free Library
Join the Mural Arts Program as they celebrate their 30th anniversary with program director Jane Golden and David Updike at the Free Library of Philadelphia. Philadelphia Mural Arts @30 is a publication of essays by policy makers, curators and educators that outlines its long history and many successes.
ICA@50: Videoarte Brasil 1970s • Institute of Contemporary Art
The ICA is hosting another installation of their 50th anniversary celebration, Videoarte Brasil 1970s, with Glenn Phillips and Jeffery Bussmann discussing works that were originally seen in the groundbreaking exhibition.
Placemaking: The Artist’s Role • CFEVA
The Center for Emerging Visual Artists and the Corzo Center have come together to host their Direct Dialog series of panel discussions on Placemaking, the first titled The Artist’s Role. The panel will feature artists Lily Yeh, Benjamin Volta, and Dan Schimmel, exploring the artist’s role as ‘placemaker’ and the social responsibility that comes from working outside the studio and inside the communities they are part of. Free for UArts students and alumni (with ID), $12.00 general asmission, Artists affilalated with The Center for Emerging Visual Artists and AIA receive a $2 discount. Nancy Lisagor: Is A Stitch Interrupted • Stadler-Kahn
Join Stadler-Kahn as they host the opening reception for Is A Stitch Interrupted, featuring never before seen work by artist Nancy Lisagor. Lisagor specializes in bargello needlepoint, breaking the boundaries of what is possible with the medium through an improvisational aesthetic.
Stonemasonry In the Digital Age • Philadelphia Art Alliance
The Philadelphia Art Alliance presents Stonemasonry In the Digital Age, a lecture by Christian Herrmann. Herrmann will give a multi-media presentation exploring the rich history and techniques of stonemasonry through architectural structures found in Philadelphia and New York.
K-Pop Dance Party + Fashion Show • Philadelphia Museum of Art

Join the Philadelphia Museum of Art for their Friday Art After 5 program, K-Pop Dance Party + Fashion Show. Student fashion designers from the Art Institute have taken inspiration from the PMA’s exhibition, Treasures of Korea, with a runway show of their original pieces.
We Are All Ukraine: Art by Waldemart Klyuzko • The Latvian Society of Philadelphia

The Latvian Society of Philadelphia presents the opening reception and artist talk for their latest art exhibition with We Are All Ukraine: Art by Waldemart Klyuzko, an artist from Kyiv. It features multi-media works such as protest placards, kaleidoscopic light boxes, Ukrainian paper cut-outs, and more.
