Author: Daniella Vinitski Mooney

Daniella Vinitski Mooney is a freelance theater artist and educator recently relocated back to the Philadelphia area. She is the recipient of various awards and recognition for performance, such as the BCAA Emerging Artist award for multi-media directing and the Beverly Sears research grant for dissertation research. She has studied closely under various movement artists, such as Viewpoints-founder Mary Overlie, and respective USA Fellows Michelle Ellsworth and Pig Iron Theatre Company, among others. Daniella is conservatory trained in physical and classical theatre through the Experimental Theatre Wing at NYU, and holds a PhD in Theatre through the University of Colorado, with a focus on interdisciplinary performance and research. She is also a peer-reviewed scholar and playwright.
