Author: Benjamin Lloyd

Benjamin Lloyd is artistic director of White Pines Productions. He holds a BA with honors in Theater Studies from Yale College, and an M.F.A. in Acting from The Yale School of Drama. He has produced and directed several independent theater productions: in New York; Beckett3, Extras and Q1 Hamlet; in Philadelphia, Psycho Drama, Eccentrics and William di Canzio’s Johnny Has Gone for A Soldier, the first White Pines Production; in New York City, Life Without Parole, Please!; in Scotland, Psycho Drama; in The Czech Republic, The Dreamer Examines His Pillow. He recently directed White Pines’ two world premieres: Jerry Perna’s The Music Your Remember and Martha Kemper’s Luckiest Kid. Ben has twenty years of experience teaching theater and acting in various styles to all ages, mostly college and graduate school students. He has taught at Princeton University, Villanova, The University of The Arts, Penn State, Temple Univeristy, Arcadia and Ursinus. He currently teaches classes at White Pines to young people, adults and people with special needs.
