This year’s SNOWBALL—the annual one-night-only festive winter-wonderland fundraiser for Brian Sanders’ JUNK—will fill the Trocadero (where Sanders produced his first show in 1992) with spectacular dance, food, and libations inspired by the cult-classic film “The Fifth Element.”

The highlight of the evening will be a live performance by JUNK’s exciting dance troupe (Teddy Fatscher, Tommy Schimmel, Julia Higdon, Kelly Trevlyn, and Peter Jones) with Sanders’ signature dare-devil choreography and live musical accompaniment by New York’s Multipass, featuring singer-songwriter Nicole Atkins. In addition to the performance, guests can ‘zorg out’ on the dance floor with DJ Matt Beierschmitt; participate in a soft-and-dry friendly snowball fight; bid on raffle items from some of Philadelphia’s premiere performing arts organizations (including FringeArts and Koresh Dance Company); and win awards for the most creative Fifth Element white attire and best alien costume!

Doors open at 8 pm; tickets are available at varying price levels through the Troc box office at 215.922.6888 or www.TheTroc.com. All proceeds benefit JUNK, a 501(c)3 charitable dance-theater organization with a mission to inspire creativity. And so it does!
