Philadelphia’s best revue of new performing arts returns for another season January 13 and 14, 2017, at Moving Arts of Mount Airy. Presented by Automatic Arts (formerly SmokeyScout Productions) the Nice and Fresh series features original, new works of theater, dance, and more performed at venues in Northwest Philadelphia.

Th fourth season kicks off with four new and original 15-minute works, including a new one-act by Josh McIlvain, performance art by Irina Varina, storytelling by Steve Lippe, and dance by Evaline “Wally” Carbonell. Russian-born Irina Varina takes on the tension between traditional ideals of femininity that she was raised with and her current, much wider view of being a human being in the 21st century.
