Protect the #SPINE

On today’s podcast, we are joined by Claire Moyer, director of Inis Nua Theatre’s U.S. Premiere of SPINE written by Clara Brennan. We met in the Louis Bluver Theatre before opening, where the production team was creating the world in this new space. In the green room, we get to know Claire, discuss the issues that make up the piece, and talk about some of the first books that moved us. Stay Tuned!

About SPINE
By Clara Brennan
Spine is a funny and touching love song to libraries, an increasingly endangered species under Britain’s new austerity. It is also a galvanizing manifesto on reading and learning by Amy (Emily R. Johnson ), a frustrated teenager from South London. Thanks to a strong-willed old woman and a house full of stolen books, Amy begins to learn how to chart her own course. Directed by Claire Moyer.
